It has rained all day. We had to go out though, for no other reason than for a change of scene. We limped our way to Dobbies garden centre. Sarah managed 10 minutes walking round and then we had to seek out the garden furniture for a sit down. A bit of a wasted trip but you have to do something on a bank holiday. We did treat ourselves to some new mugs, as we thought with new babies we might have some visitors and thought it would be nice to be able to give people all the same type of mug.
God! no one on earth needs to know this.
The car is still fine apart from the squeak. The squeak is getting worse. Even with the radio turned right up I can still make out the distinctive high-pitched squeak. I am coming round to the idea that it is now the brakes. The squeak stops when breaking so it might be a case of the breaks not realising fully. I will keep you informed.
A blog about twins is rather difficult to pad out without any twins actually on the scene. Sarah is shattered at the moment and has taken to her bed. The twins are all elbows and stopping her from sleeping. I keep telling her that we are on the home stretch now but it must be said she rarely wants advice of this type. This sort of advice goes down like a lead balloon. However she is otherwise fine. The next blog will come from her own fair hands.
